The Nike Space Hippie 04 “Astronomy Blue” is an eco-friendly shoe from the brand’s sustainable “Space Hippie” series. “Astronomy Blue” is another colorway of the Nike sneaker made from junk. Yes, junk. As in leftover scraps from the footwear giant’s cutting room floor. The recycled material forms the Sail colored “Space Waste Yarn” found on the upper. An Astronomy Blue dotted Swoosh appears on either side of the shoe. A tonal nylon pull tab assists with easy on-off wearability. Despite its sock-like build, the Space Hippie 04 features a traditional lacing system. A mini embroidered blue Swoosh appears on the forefoot on the inward-facing side of the sneaker. The ultra comfortable Crater Foam speckled midsole finishes off the futuristic vibe of this environmentally conscious silhouette. Release date: September 23, 2020.
